Re: Non-Resident Hospitalization Rates

I am writing to you on behalf of Jeff Lozon who is currently out of town. Jeff asked that I pass along his regards. He very much enjoyed speaking with you the other day.

I understand that you are interested in general information on per diem hospitalization rates for non-residents. Our Standard Medical and Surgical Ward rate is $2,600.00 per day and one patient day in the Intensive Care Unit is $3,000.00. These rates include all Hospital costs with the exception of the Physicians' fees and special hardware and tests (E.g. Our CT rate ranges from $550.00-$650.00, an MRI is $980.00 - $1,800.00, and an Angiogram is $1,350.00). Our semi-private rate is $170.00 per day and our private rate is $215.00.

A hypothetical stay of one week in the ICU, followed by three weeks in a semi-private room would come to $79,170.00 as calculated below:
